I've been getting a lot of questions lately about my Killacycle.com LiIon BMS, and about my homebrew DIY Surface Mount techniques.
As you can see, I'm not a very good writer, so I thought I'd upload a draft of a contest entry I put together.
This is a 30 second video of some 0805 resistors being "reflowed" using a simple kitchen hot plate. Look at the 8 resistors
in the lower right hand corner. The resistors will get "shiny" as the solder paste reflows, starting with the left one, ending
with the right one. It's hard to see the surface tension of the molten solder pulling each resistor into alignment... it
would be easier if they were a bit more misplaced to begin with.
